Last weekend, we headed to UC Davis for Picnic Day, an annual tradition that showcases the entire campus. While attending UC Davis, I was actively involved in helping to plan Picnic Day for 3 years, and I was excited to take Brody and Mike back to my old stomping grounds. So much has changed on campus in the 10 years since I graduated - they have added the Mondavi Performing Arts Center, a new Recreation Center, new residence halls, a brand new football stadium....the list goes on and on. It was fun to see the new additions to the campus, but I really appreciated seeing many of the things that really made my four years in Davis so memorable.
Here are some snapshots of our Picnic Day experience:

Brody and I anxiously awaiting the start of the parade.

One of Brody's favorites - fire truck!

Anyone for a ride on this bike?

Hmm...to pee, or not to pee?
(Considering this was a remote control hydrant,
this dog chose to pee elsewhere!)

Brody and Mike checking out the fire truck.

Brody is ready to take off in this helicopter!

We capped off the day with a visit to my old home,
the Chi Omega house on A Street.

Oh my gosh--Brody is growing up so much!
Yay, you went to the Chi O house! Can you believe it was so long ago that we lived there? Did it look the same?? Brody looks like he had fun... Tell him he's too young to raid the sorority house! =)
